CodyRay Caho.jpg

CodyRay Caho, bass, was fortunate enough to experience the power of musical collaboration at a young age in All-State and Regional choruses. These intensive programs, along with encouragement from local musicians and teachers in rural Georgia, gave him the desire to pursue music as a profession. CodyRay now holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance (voice) from State University of New York at Fredonia, along with a Master of Music Degree in Opera from Arizona State University. He has performed with organizations such as Arizona Opera, Cincinnati Opera, American Lyric Theater, and the Aspen Summer Music Festival. He has collaborated with such musicians Rufus Wainwright, internationally acclaimed baritone Gordon Hawkins, and author of The Naked Voice: A Wholistic Approach to Singing, W. Stephen Smith, to name a few. His most recent music adventure landed him in the US premiere of the operatic adaptation of Pink Floyd’s album/movie “The Wall” entitled “Another Brick in the Wall.” In the music community, CodyRay has found an immense amount of love, encouragement, and honesty that he hopes to instill in his own sharing of art whether that be through performing, teaching, or just having a conversation with someone new.
